Les Marronniers

Labruguiere, France.

Les Marronniers is a small haven in Provence in the charming village of La Bruguiere. A fully restored mansion built in 1812 with a front courtyard, shaded by chestnut trees where guests often dine. At the back of the house is a heated pool and garden.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Labruguiere, bed and breakfast: Les Marronniers

A “Maison de Maitre” (Master’s house), Les Marronniers was built on three levels around 1812 with an enclosed forecourt, and a back garden with a good size swimming pool set in a lawn surrounded by flowering shrubs and plants. Ample garden furniture provides poolside seating under the old fig tree.

Depending upon the weather you can either eat outside in the shade of the Marronniers or in the spacious dining area. Continental breakfast is usually served by the heated pool or in the front courtyard; a gentle way to start the day. Evening meals are available on request and include four delicious courses along with wine, aperitif and coffee.

There are four double rooms, each of which is decorated differently in French country style. All have tea and coffee facilities; TV; video, CD and radio and private baths. One room has a satellite TV and there is a video library full of English language movies.

We have free wireless Internet connection in all bedrooms plus use of computer, printer and scaner in guests lounge.

Les Marronniers has been home to innkeepers John and Michel since 1989, after ten years of restoration they opened this beautiful, provincial, manor home to a small number of guests. Here guests are treated as friends who have come to spend some time, the personal attention and hospitality is something that people want to return to again and they do.
