Bed and Breakfast Description

Centrally located between Rome and Florence, just off the A1 route, Casa Bellavista provides an ideal location for daytrips to the Tuscan hill towns and cities of Arezzo, Siena, Sansepolcro, Pienza, San Quirico, Montepulciano, San Gimignano and Cortona, as well as Chianti Country.

Casa Bellavista is also a convenient location for daytrips to the Umbrian villages of Assisi and Spello as well as a drive around Lago Trasimano.

Our home and guest rooms are furnished in antiques of the eighteenth to twentieth centuries. Each of our beautifully appointed guest rooms offers a full private bath. The rooms are serviced daily and the linen is changed every three days. A sumptuous buffet breakfast is served in our dining room, with all guests seated around a single table.

We will be happy, upon arrangement, to prepare dinners featuring traditional Tuscan dishes. It would be our pleasure to recommend an appropriate wine from our wine cellar to accompany your meal.

The Sitting Room furnished in vintage antiques, offers a comfortable area to listen to music, read a book or enjoy planning your next day’s travels.

Casa Bellavista is an ideal place for those visiting central Italy. So come, relax with a glass of fine wine, admire the rolling Tuscan hills and enjoy a Tuscan sunset.

From start to finish, Simonetta shares her enthusiasm and passion for cooking, creating a unique and wonderful environment for experiencing the culinary magic of the Tuscan kitchen. So, be ready to roll up your sleeves and tie on your apron, a cooking lesson with Simonetta is an adventure.

Bike and Vespa Rides:

Capture the spirit of freedom as you ride one of our Vespa Piaggio scooters or one of our Mountain Bikes about the country roads surrounding Casa Bellavista. The adventure awaits you! The Vespas and Mountain Bikes are a free courtesy service to our guests.

Casa Bellavista is close to many beautiful daytrip destinations including Cortona, Monte San Savino, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico, Montalcino, Arezzo, Siena, Lucignano, the Chianti area and Umbria.

La camera Rosa: Opening onto the balcony, La camera Rosa, a large and comfortable room with a southern exposure, provides views of Monte Amiata and Montepulciano. La camera Rosa offers a nicely appointed private bath, complete with shower.
