Ingredients: 1 cup butter 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup sugar 1 egg 1 cup salad oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup rolled oats 1 cup corn flakes, crushed 1 cup coconut (optional) 1/2 cup chopped nuts 3 1/2 cups sifted flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt Instructions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg, mix well; add salad oil and vanilla, mix well. Add oats, corn flakes, coconut and nuts, stir well. Add flour, soda and salt. Mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in water. Bake approximately 12 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes. |
