Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
Pastry Dough:

1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
1 stick cold butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup ice water

Combine dry ingredients in food processor bowl, cut butter in 2 or 3 pieces and process with mixing blade until mixed. With machine running slowly, pour ice water through feed tube. A ball of dough will form in 20 to 50 seconds.

Pie Filling:

5-7 medium apples
3/4 - 1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter

Instructions:
Peel, core and slice apples very thin. Mix sugar, flour, salt and spices. Place apples in crust, sprinkle with dry mixture and put butter on top, then top with crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
