 Hummus Recipe

Ingredients:
1 large onion, minced
3 cloves minced garlic
2 tsp vegetable oil
2 cups cooked chick peas
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp soy sauce
salt to taste
1/4 cup tahini
1/2 cup sesame seeds (toasted and ground)

Instructions:
Saute the onion and garlic in the oil until the vegetables are soft. Set the mixture aside. In a food processor, puree the chick peas with the onion and garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce, salt, tahini and sesame seeds. Serve with fresh or toasted pita bread on a plate surrounded with sliced onions and lemon slices.
