Ingredients: 1 pound plums or mangos, diced 1/2" 1 pound apples, diced 1 pound tomatoes, diced 4 med. onions, diced 2 lg cloves garlic 1 pound golden raisins 2 1/2 cups vinegar 1/4 tsp mace 1/4 tsp apple pie spice 2 Tbsp ginger 2 2/3 cups brown sugar Instructions: Mix all ingredients except brown sugar, simmer 30 minutes. Add brown sugar and simmer until thick. Makes 2 quarts, and will keep for several weeks, sealed and cold. Note: May be served with venison, beef, pork, and other game meats. |
