Ingredients: 1 1/2 pounds of oats 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup sesame seeds 1 cup chopped nuts (your choice) 1 T. vanilla 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup corn oil 2 cups honey 1/2 cup sunflower seeds 1 cup raisins 1 cup coconut Instructions: Combine all ingredients except raisins and coconut. Spread on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until golden brown. Stir every 15 minutes while baking. After baking, add raisins and coconut. *This is great as a breakfast cereal, or add m & m's for a great trail snack. It's a great base recipe that you can add more of your favorites to. |
