Ingredients: 1 1/2 cup margarine or butter 2 cups white sugar 2 eggs 1/2 molasses 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. ginger 3 1/2 cups flour 2 tsp. cloves 2 tsp. baking soda Instructions: Blend margarine or butter, add sugar and cream well. Add eggs, beating thoroughly, add molasses. Combine dry ingredients and fold into creamy mixture. Roll dough into small balls and roll in white sugar. Place on a greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart and bake at 350'F for 10 minutes. These ginger snaps are nice and soft to chew. These don't have to be used for tea dunkers. |
