Ingredients: Sift together:
3 and 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. soda
1 and 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. cloves
Cream with beater:
4 eggs
1 cup oil
3 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
Add 2/3 cup buttermilk and 2 cups canned pumpkin alternately with the sifted dry ingredients.
Instructions: Stir in 1 cup raisins and 1 cup nuts. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
