Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
6 eggs
3/4 cup light rum
1 1-pound box raisins
1 1/4 cups chopped almonds
2 1/2 cups flour
3 T each of baking powder and powdered sugar

Instructions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add rum. Fold in raisins and nuts. Sift together flour and baking powder and stir into butter mixture. Pour batter into 10 inch tube pan and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 45 minutes longer or until cake tests done. Cool, remove from pan an sprinkle with powdered sugar.
