Ingredients: Saltine crackers 1 cup sugar 1 cup chopped Spanish peanuts with skins 2 egg whites, beaten Beat sugar, nuts and egg whites well. Lay saltines onto a cookie sheet that has been lightly sprayed with Pam. Drop a tablespoon of the mixture onto each cracker. Bake in 350 degree oven until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Remove immediately onto wax paper and cool completely. Store in a tin container. Note: A Tupperware or similar container will make them too soft. Instructions: Yummy as a sweet with a glass of milk, and yummy as a treat with a glass of white wine! |
