Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
Mix the following in a large mixing bowl in order as printed and cream until it looks like whipped butter:
1 cup butter, softened in microwave (it has to be real butter)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

In a blender, blend until a fine flour consistency:
2 1/2 cups oatmeal

Add to oatmeal in blender:
2 cups unbleached flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda

After you have blended oatmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, and soda, mix it with the butter/sugar mixture.

Mix into above mixture:
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:
Kathy Lewis, the innkeeper, says, "These are the best cookies I have ever baked".

Roll into to balls and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 14 minutes at 375 degrees.
