Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 6 servings 

Ingredients:
6 slices sour dough bread, cut into 1/4" cubes
6 eggs
1/4 cup maple syrup
4 oz. cream cheese, cubed
1 C. milk
cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
blueberries/fruit as desired

Fruit Sauce:
2 C. blueberries
1/2 C. orange juice
2 C. strawberries
2-3 T. lemon juice
1/2 C. sugar



Instructions:
Place 1/2 the bread cubes in a 8 x 8 lightly greased pan. Put cream cheese cubes on top, then the fruit, and top with remaining bread cubes. Combine eggs, syrup, milk and cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour over bread. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Heat oven to 350 degrees. When ready to bake, remove plastic wrap and bake for 45 minutes, or until set.

Fruit Sauce:
Combine berries, sugar, orange and lemon juice in sauce pan over medium heat. Cook about 5 minutes. Puree in food processor or blender, return to sauce pan - heat till warm.
