2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. fresh grated nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
3/4 c. vegetable oil
4 large eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 16 oz. can of pumpkin
2 c. sugar
2 apples peeled & chopped

Instructions:
This is another fall favorite and a great combination, especially around Thanksgiving.

Sift flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice together and set aside. In another bowl mix together pumpkin, oil, sugar, and eggs. Add the flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture and mix well. Fold in the apples. Divide the batter between the 2 pans and sprinkle the topping evenly on each loaf. Bake in the middle of the oven for 50 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Let loaves cool in pan or rack for 45 minutes and then remove from pan. Makes 2 loaves.
