Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 8 servings 

Ingredients:
6 to 8 tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced or chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup golden raisins
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup quick cooking oatmeal
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup oat bran
3/4 cup butter (unsalted), softened

Instructions:

Preheat oven o 375 degrees. In a large bowl, combine apples and lemon juice; stir in raisins. Place in a greased 8x12" baking dish. In a bowl, combine sugar, oatmeal, flour, oat bran, softened butter and cinnamon; mix until crumbly. Spread mixture over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes until apples are tender. Serve warm with a dollop of vanilla yogurt, if desired.
