 Bob Hope Egg Souffle Recipe

Yield: 12 servings 

Ingredients:
4 c. cubed firm white bread (8 slices)
2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
8-12 oz. diced ham or sauteed sausage or cooked, crumbled bacon
10 eggs, lightly beaten
4 c. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. onion powder
fresh ground pepper
salt to taste


Instructions:
Generously butter 9x13 inch glass baking dish. Arrange bread cubes on bottom. Sprinkle with meat, then with cheese. Beat together milk, eggs, mustard, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Before baking, sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
