Ingredients: 4 apples, peeled, cored & sliced 3 tablespoons butter or margarine 1/2 cup raisins 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup milk 3 eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla 2/3 cup flour Powdered sugar for garnish Instructions: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8-cup shallow baking dish (12-inch pie plate) with non-stick spray. Saute apples in large skillet over medium heat in hot butter until lightly browned. Add raisins, nutmeg, 1/4 cup sugar, set aside. Batter: Place milk, eggs, vanilla, flour and remaining 1/4 cup sugar in blender. Blend on high for 1 minute. Spread apple mix in pie plate. Pour batter over apples. Bake 1 hour. Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm. |
