 Applesauce Bran Muffins Recipe

Yield: 2 dozen 

Ingredients:
1 cup all bran cereal
1/4 cup milk
1 cup of applesauce
1/3 cup oil
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

Instructions:
Stir the bran, milk, applesauce, oil and egg together. Stir together the dry ingredients. Add the bran mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring just to moisten. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Raisins or nuts are optional
