Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients: 2 cups flour 1/2 cup sugar 1 Tbs. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup butter, melted 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 cup milk 1 egg 1/2 package of chocolate chunks 1 jar cherries Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 12 cup or 1 large 6 cup muffin tin. Instructions: Combine first 4 ingredients in medium bowl. In mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sour cream, milk and egg. Mix until blended. Add flour mixture and mix until just blended. Mixture may be a little lumpy. Add chocolate chunks and cherries. Fill muffin tins about 3/4 full. Bake 15 to 20 minutes (until tooth pick comes out clean). This basic recipe can be changed by adding other ingredients instead of the chocolate and cherries. Try cranberries or nuts. Whatever add-in you like will work. Enjoy! |
