Ingredients: 6 eggs 1 cup milk 1 cup flour 1 tsp vanilla Dash of Salt 3 granny smith apples, sliced 2 tbsp butter or margarine 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur 1 tbsp cinnamon Powdered Sugar Hazelnuts Instructions: Preheat oven to 500F. Combine eggs, milk, flour, vanilla and salt in the blender. Saute apples in the butter until slightly soft, then add liqueur and cinnamon. In round or oval 6" ramekins, put about a teaspoon of margarine in the center and place in the preheated oven until the butter starts to bubble. Fill the ramekin about 1/2 full with the batter. Bake until the Dutch baby is puffed and browned. Take out of oven and spoon the apple mixture on top. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and hazelnuts. Serve immediately with a variety of toppings and syrups. |
