Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 6 servings 

Ingredients:
Filling:
7 cups sliced apples
1 cup white sugar
juice of 2 lemons 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 tblsp. butter

Pancakes:
6 large eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 cups whole milk
1 generous pinch of salt
3 taps of nutmeg
1-1/2 cups sifted flour
powdered sugar
carmel sauce

Instructions:
Melt butter and add lemon juice in large pan. Combine sugar & cinnamon dry, then stir into pan & add apples. Cook on medium till hot, then keep warm on low. Don't over cook apples. In mixer, blend ..eggs, vanilla, milk salt and nutmeg. Sift in flour. Preheat oven on 425, place large empty skillets in oven to warm. When oven is ready, brush skillets with butter and place 1 cup of batter in each. Place in over for 11 min. and DON'T PEAK! When ready, remove pancakes which will appear like large light bowls. Spread apples in bottom, dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with caramel sauce. Each skillet serves four single servings, They'll want seconds

Resembles and open face apple pie. Very attractive, and tasty. Makes a beautiful presentation that reveals your love and effort. Enjoy!
