I just want you to know that I feel this is the greatest list of breakfast food recipes that I have ever come across. Believe me, I surf the web many hours a day and I am lucky to have found this web site. Keep up the good work.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups unbleached flour
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 hard packed light brown sugar
1 T. baking powder
1/2 cup melted butter
1 egg
1/2 cup cream or Half & Half
1 cup finely chopped pealed, pitted fresh peaches
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 T. soft butter

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first four ingredients in large bowl thoroughly. Next add egg, cream and melted butter. Blend well, but mixture will still be lumpy. If too dry, add another tablespoon of cream. Then fold in chopped peaches.

Drop by spoon evenly into muffin papers in a regular sized muffin pan.

In small bowl, mix oats, remaining brown sugar and softened butter to make a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle over top of each of the 12 muffins. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve warm.

Comments:
I also make a spiced peach jam that goes very nicely with these muffins.
