Ingredients: 1 pound puff pastry, chilled ½ cup granulated sugar 4 tsp cinnamon ½ cup nuts 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces 6 pears Glaze: 1 egg beaten Instructions: Preheat oven to 400. Mix sugar, cinnamon and nuts in a small bowl. Core the pears carefully. Fill each pear with the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place one pat of butter on top. Wrap each pear with puff pastry. Place the pears on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill until ready to bake. Lightly brush each wrapped pear with the egg glaze and bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden brown. |
