Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 6 servings 

Ingredients:
1 loaf sweet French bread, cut in 1" slices
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp dark corn syrup
1 cup chopped roasted pecans
7 eggs
3/4 cup 1/2 & 1/2
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
dash nutmeg
dash cinnamon

Instructions:
Spray a 13x9 glass baking dish with butter flavored oil. Prepare praline mixture. Mix together in saucepan butter, sugar and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens stirring constantly. Pour into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle pecans on top of mixture. Place French bread in two rows packing tightly. (You should have 6 slices per row)in baking dish.

Beat eggs, milk, 1/2&1/2, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Pour over bread, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. In morning remove wrap and bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Serve with Praline mixture on top. Sprinkle with powder sugar and garnish with strawberries.
