Ingredients: 4 cups of lukewarm water 3-4 Tbsp of molasses Add: l ½ Tbsp of dry yeast 1 cup of white flour 4 eggs 1/2 Tbsp salt ¾ cups of melted butter 2 cups whole wheat flour 4-6 cups of white flour or more (enough to make dough elastic and not stick to sides of bowl) Instructions: Mix water and molasses; then add yeast and white flour and let it bubble. Add next five ingredients and knead for 1 minute or so. Let it rise once. Divide into 2-3 loaves. Put in greased bread pans. Let it rise a bit. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes |
