Ingredients: 1 lb mild deboned raw fish filet 5 or 6 medium size juicy limes half an average onion half an average sweet pepper three large sprigs of cilantro Instructions: Dice the fish into half inch cubes, finely chop the onion, sweet pepper and culantro, pack everything into the bottom of a medium bowl, squeeze the limes over the mixture until everything is fully submerged in the lime juice, stir gently, refrigerate for two hours to let the fish actually cook in the lime juice, serve on soda crackers, some Costa Ricans add catsup and mayonaise. |
