Ingredients: Blend well in a large bowl: 9 1/2 cups of rolled oats 300• F 1 cup wheat germ 30 minutes 1/2 to 1 pound shredded coconut 2 cups raw sesame seeds 3 cups any combination almonds, pecans or walnuts Set aside. In a large sauce pan, over low heat, combine until well mixed: 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 1 1/2 cups water 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup molassas 1 1/4 tsp salt 2 tsp cinnamon 3 tsp vanilla Instructions: Pour over oat mix and combine well. Spread a thin layer on baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes at 300 F. Cool and add any dried fruit you wish. Keeps well for up to 5 months in an airtight container. |
