Ingredients: 4 slices thickly sliced French, Italian or Challah bread 2-3 large beaten eggs 1/2 cup orange juice 1/2 tsp each cinnamon and nutmeg 2 Tbsp honey 1 cup crushed corn flakes or granola 1/2 tsp each cinnamon and nutmeg 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Instructions: Soak 4 slices of bread in mixture of eggs, orange juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and honey. Then, in another shallow dish mix together corn flakes or granola, cinnamon and nutmeg, and Parmesan cheese. When the bread has been turned and thoroughly marinated, dip soaked slices in the cereal mixture. Next, melt butter in bottom of large skillet. Now, saute coated slices in pan, turning only once. |
