Ingredients: 1/4 cup mushroom, sliced 3 tablespoon Golden raisins 2 tablespoon Major Grey's chutney 1/4 teaspoon curry powder dash cayenne pepper dash Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup heavy cream 20 shrimp, large, shelled and deveined butter, oil or margarine 3 cups long grain and wild rice, cooked (1 cup uncooked) Instructions: Cook the mushrooms, raisins, chutney, spices, worcestershire sauce, and cream in a small skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until thickened. Arrange the shrimp on four skewers. Brush the shrimp with a little butter. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 4 to 5 minutes, turning once, or until cooked. Then serve shrimp on rice and spoon sauce over the top. |
