Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
2/3 cup shortening
2 2/3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 can or 1 lb cooked and pureed pumpkin
2/3 cup water
3 1/3 cups flour, half whole wheat and half white
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
2/3 cup chopped nuts
2/3 cup c'raisins (dried cranberries)

Instructions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 loaf pans 9 X 5. In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, pumpkin, and water; mix together. Blend in dry ingredients except nuts and c'raisins. Stir in nuts and c'raisins. Pour into loaf pans and bake for 65-75 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

*Great to use up pumpkin after halloween!
