Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
5 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 large pears, peeled, cored and cut in 8
2 tsp grated lemon rind
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 cups biscotti crumbs(about 3 large)


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 F. Melt 3 Tbsp butter in skillet over medium heat. Add sugar and cook for 2 minutes or until slightly foamy. Add pears, lemon rind and juice. Saute for 4 to 6 minutes or until pears are tender and sauce reduces slightly. Combine biscotti crumbs with remaining 2 Tbsp butter. Place half the crumbs over bottom of buttered baking dish. Top with all pears and juice. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
