Ingredients: 1/4 pound bacon, diced and browned 1 small onion, diced, sautéed in bacon grease 3 cups diced cooked potatoes 1 1/2 cups milk 1 teaspoon salt 1 can kernel corn 1 can creamed corn Salt and pepper to taste Pinch of marjoram (or oregano) Instructions: Saute bacon in large pot and remove. Add onions to bacon grease and saute. Return bacon and remaining ingredients to pot. Simmer 1 1/2 hours. For best flavor, make a day ahead and reheat to serve. |
