Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients:
5 eggs
2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup orange-flavored liqueur
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ cup fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 pound loaf French bread, cut into 12-14 1" slices

Instructions:
Whisk the eggs and cream until very light and frothy. Add the liqueur, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and cinnamon, blending well. Cover the bottom of a 13"x9"x2" glass baking dish with the melted butter. Arrange the bread slices over the bottom of the dish. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake 30 minutes or until the bread is lightly browned. Separate the French toast slices with a knife. Serve warm with the warmed syrup.
