Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 cup unbleached flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 cup oats 2 cups buttermilk Instructions: Mix all dry ingredients together. Add buttermilk to form dough. Knead lightly into a ball. Pat into a circle 2" thick. Slash across the top with a sharp knife. Bake at 425 degrees for 45 minutes, or until firm to the touch. Enjoy! |
