Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
Crust:
1 1/4 pounds flour
1 pound butter
1/2 pound powder sugar
1/8 ounce salt

Filling:
7 ounces lemon juice
1 dozen eggs
1 3/4 pounds sugar
6 ounces flour
1/4 ounce baking powder

Crust:
Cut butter into small pieces. Add flour, sugar & salt; mix until crumbly. Line 3 8"x8" baking bans with paper (no oil). Press crust evenly into pans. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes.


Instructions:
Filling:
Mix while crust is baking. Beat eggs well. Add, one at a time, mixing after each, the lemon juice, sugar, flour and baking powder. Mixture will be foamy.

Pour filling over prebaked hot crust and bake at 385 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until barely brown. Cool in the pan, then cut into bars and remove from pan. Dust with powder sugar.
