Ingredients: ½ cup butter or margarine 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon soda ½ teaspoon salt 8 ounces sour cream 1 teaspoon almond 1 teaspoon vanilla 16-ounce can whole-berry cranberry sauce ½ cup chopped pecans GLAZE ¾ cup powdered sugar ½ teaspoon almond 1 tablespoon warm water dash salt Instructions: Cream butter, gradually add sugar, beat until light & fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine dry ingredients, add creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beating well after each addition. Add extracts and mix well. Spoon ½ mixture into a greased and floured 10” tube pan. Spread ½ cranberry sauce over batter. Repeat. Sprinkle pecans over. Bake 350 degrees for one hour. Let cool before removing from pan. Drizzle glaze over. |
