Ingredients: 1 cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 cup brown Sugar 1/2 teaspoon each nutmeg 1 cup shortening cloves 1 egg 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 cup persimmon pulp 1 cup raisons 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda Instructions: Combine sugars and shortening until smooth. Add egg and mix. Stir in persimmon pulp. Set aside. In another bowl combine flour and additional dry ingredients (except nuts and raisons). Mix in persimmon mixture. Add nuts and raison. Drop teaspoon size onto greased cookie sheets in a 350°F oven. Bake until golden brown about 12-15 minutes. |
