Ingredients: 75 grams sugar 5 teaspoons water 3 small glasses orange juice 1 teaspoon cornstarch 1 tablespoon Cointreau or orange liquer 8 figs Instructions: Cook 75 grams sugar and 5 Tablespoons water in chrome iron pan until caramelized. Mix in 3 small glasses orange juice; cook until dissolved. Mix 1 teaspoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon Cointreau or orange liquer. Add to sauce and cook 2 minutes, stirring. Add 8 figs, washed and halved, to sauce and cook briefly. Let the mixture stand 2-3 hours. Notes: Serve with vanilla ice cream. |
