Cook Time: 1 hrPrep Time: 20 min
Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
5 tablespoons butter
16 slices, approx., Texas Toast/French Bread
5 eggs
1.5 cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Sour cream
Berries or other fruit

Instructions:
1.In a heavy saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar & butter. Heat stirring constantly until bubbly.
2.Pour syrup into buttered (Pam) 9” X 13” glass or metal pan. Nestle the bread slices into the syrup, making 2 overlapping layers. Cut the bread to fit into corners.

4.Bake in a 350°F oven for about 45 minutes.
