Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Whether you're hosting a formal get-together or need a quick brunch idea, this book will spark your imagination and your appetite.

Cook Time: 5 minPrep Time: 5 min
Yield: 6 servingsInactive Prep Time: 10 min

Ingredients:
1. 3 different types of day old bread
2. 6 eggs (or egg beaters)
3. 1 cup of low fat milk
4. 2 tablespoons of vanilla
5. 2 cups of freshly sliced apples
6. 1/2 cup of fresh cranberries
7. 1 teaspoon cinnamin and 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
8. 2 teaspoon of butter

Instructions:
Combine items 2-4 in a bowl. Slice the bread into thick slices. Mix items 5-7. Heat pan, melt butter.

Dip bread into egg/milk mixture and place in pan to brown on each side. Meanwhile saute apples/cranberry mixture in a pan.

Plate each guests plate with one of each of the breads and sprinkle with hot apple mixture.

Shake powdered sugar on top and serve immediately.
