Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Whether you're hosting a formal get-together or need a quick brunch idea, this book will spark your imagination and your appetite.

Cook Time: 40 minPrep Time: 10 min
Yield: 12 servings 

Ingredients:
1 stick butter
3/4 cup brown sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 loaf french bread cut into 1 inch slices
5 eggs
1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate
1 1/2 cups half & half - half milk, half cream

Instructions:
Pour melted butter into chafing dish or square pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of sugar mixture into butter and stir. Place bread on top of butter mixture. Beat eggs, half & half and orange juice and pour over bread. Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture on top. Cover & refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes. Serve with maple syrup or a fruit coulis.

Notes:
This is a favorite with our guests...they all want to make it at home. It is great for a brunch.
