Ingredients: 3 cups old fashioned oats ½ cup flaked coconut Salt to taste Cinnamon to taste 1/3 cup honey ¼ cup molasses ¼ cup margarine, 1 stick, melted Instructions: Mix oats, coconut, salt and cinnamon. Mix margarine and honey. Pour over oat mixture and toss well. Spread mixture evenly over baking sheet, use large pan to spread thinly. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes, up to 25 minutes in high altitude. Cool to room temperature. Notes: Store in airtight container at room tempurature, refrigerator will make granola very hard. |
