Ingredients: 2 eggs - separated 1 1/2 cups buttermilk 2 tsp. baking powder 1 cup sifted unbleached flour 1/2 cup oil 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 to 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional) 1 mashed banana (optional) Instructions: Beat egg whites until stiff. Combine egg yolks, milk, baking powder, baking soda, flour and oil. Beat until smooth. Add nuts and banana. Fold in egg whites. Make sure irons are hot. I use 2 scoops |
