Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Whether you're hosting a formal get-together or need a quick brunch idea, this book will spark your imagination and your appetite.

Cook Time: 45 minPrep Time: 20 min
Yield: 8 servings 

Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter, 1/2 cup
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 loaf crusty French bread
8 eggs
2 c milk
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup your favorite liquor

Instructions:
Melt the brown sugar, butter & syrup in a saucepan until bubbly. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Slice the bread in about 1" slices. Beat the remaining ingredients. Dip the slices of bread in the egg mixture and arrange in the pan. Pour remaining egg mixture over the bread. Soak overnight.

Bake in morning at 350°F for 45 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.

Yum yum yum...my guests can't get enough of this gooey treat. So simple, yet they all love it.
