Ingredients: 8 Lamb Chops 8 ripe dark plums 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. Port wine 1 tsp. crushed dried mint Instructions: Pit the plums and slice thin. Put all sauce ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer over medium heat until thick and bubbly (about 15 minutes). Grill the lamb chops 3-4 minutes until medium rare. Serve immediately with the sauce spooned over the chops. Notes: This sauce may be served with any grilled red meat, but is particularly good with lamb. |
