Ingredients: French or Italian loaf of bread Ripe Bananas 6 eggs 1/4 cup half and half 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 banana liquior cinnamon to taste Instructions: Cut bread 1 1/2" thick and cut middle to make a pocket in the bread . Cut banana up to stuff in the pocket. Cover with plastic wrap while you mix the other ingredients together. Heat griddle while you are preparing bread and egg mixture. Butter griddle and dunk stuffed bread into egg mixture. Fry dunked bread on prepared griddle. Turn when bread is a golden brown. Remove from griddle when you have cooked both sides sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. |
