Ingredients: 4 1-¼ inch slices (about 1/3) of fresh pineapple sliced into 3/8 inch segments ½ t ground ginger ¼ t salt ¼ t paprika ¼ c vegetable oil 2 T lemon juice 1 ½ T honey Instructions: Into a jar with a lid place the ginger, salt, paprika, oil, lemon juice and honey. Shake well to mix. Add the pineapple to the jar. Shake again. Refrigerate until time to serve. Notes: In the summer, I sometimes garnish with nasturtium flower or pansy. |
