 Prep Time: 20 min
Yield: 4 servings 

Ingredients:
2 egg yolks
1/4 c sugar
½ c milk, scalded
2 ½ T fresh lemon juice
1/4 c heavy cream, whipped

Instructions:
Combine egg yolks and sugar in the top saucepan of a double boiler. Beat until thick and lemon-colored. Blend in the milk and set over simmering water. Cook, stirring constantly, until the custard thickens and coats a spoon, about 8 minutes. Transfer the custard to a medium glass or porcelain bowl. Stir in the lemon juice. Chill in freezer. Just before serving, fold in the whipped cream.
