Ingredients: 1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter (two sticks)
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350.
Cream butter, sugars and oil. Add eggs & vanilla and mix. Combine dry ingredients and gradually beat into mixture. Form small balls and toss in sugar for extra sparkle. Drop small balls onto cookie sheets and bake 10-12 minutes. Cookies should not be allowed to brown.
Top with Hershey kiss or toasted pecans after removing from the oven.
Freezes well, just form into balls on wax papered cookie sheets. Store in zippered plastic bags until ready to bake. No need to thaw.
