Cook Time: 5 minPrep Time: 5 min
Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients:
Aloha Toast is my version of Hawaiian Toast.

Start with Hawaiian Sweet Bread (Round loaf)
Slice 2 center slices and leave whole (1 inch thick). Dip into a mixture of 3 beaten eggs,
1/4 cup cream (or half and half), 1 tsp. vanilla.

Instructions:
Fry the dipped bread in 2 Tbls. butter in a
medium frying pan. Turn to brown both sides.
Remove toast and wrap in aluminum foil to keep
warm. Add 2 more Tbls. of butter to frying pan
and fry 1/4 cups walnuts or pecans. Brown about
3 minutes on medium heat. Add 1/3 cup brown
sugar and remove from heat. Drop brown sugar
and nut mixture on top of toast before serving
and top with a sprinkling of confectioner's sugar. Great served with pineapple slices and sausage on the side. Garnish with mint or exotic
edible flowers.

Notes:
Don't try to create this dish as a low fat
option. It needs the butter, cream, and real
brown sugar to make it taste rich and delicious.
